The Beautiful News
During times of growing cultural opposition to the Gospel, it is easy for followers of Jesus to become defensive, antagonistic and even cynical as we seek to defend the truth of Jesus. Given this temptation, it is important that we are anchored not only in the truth, but also the beauty of the Good News that we steward. It is through a deep appreciation of the beauty of the Gospel that our hearts can be shaped to be tender and confident regardless of how we are treated. It is through the embodiment of the beautiful news in transformed lives and good works that barriers are broken down in the hearts of those far from Christ. For these reasons and more we need a robust understanding and appreciation of the beautiful news revealed in the Gospel of Jesus.
EFCA pastor, Chasten Hendricks. from Crossover Bible Church in Tulsa OK will be our keynote speaker. He will share with us about the power of the beautiful news of Jesus that transforms lives and communities. There will also be ministry training seminars for equipping, our annual business meeting to celebrate what God has done and consider where he is leading, and opportunities to catch up with ministry colleagues from around the district. So set aside November 8-9 in your calendar for a time of encouragement and connection. Register is open below.
